HAPPENING THIS WEEK AT SUPERIOR:
- This week is National College Week. Be sure to speak to your children about the importance of higher education! It's never too early to start!
- Thursday there will be an earthquake drill in the morning. Children, teachers and staff will run through what to do in case of an earthquake. Please talk to your children about what to do at home in case of an earthquake or other emergency. Information on emergency preparedness can be found at http://www.readyla.org/ and at http://emergency.lacity.org/index.htm.
- The Fall weather seems to finally be arriving! Don't forget, on rainy days, grades 1-4 should wait for their classroom teachers in the auditorium. Grade 5 students wait for their teachers in the cafeteria area. Kindergarten students meet at Room 1. Playground gates will not be open on rainy/wet days. Due to the restricted space, parents may not wait with their children in the auditorium. Thank you for your cooperation as we try to keep everyone dry and safe!
- Next Thursday, Oct. 23, is a minimum day. School will be dismissed at 12:33 PM.
